EMC/EMI-Engrs Mgrs — This foundational course explores the fundamental concepts of electromagnetic compatibility/electromagnetic interference (EMC/EMI). Learn about the electromagnetic (EM) environments and the requirements commercial and military electronic systems must meet. You will explore unconventional high-power EM threats, including nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) and high power microwave (HPM) weapons. Become an expert in the techniques that can be used to both limit EM emissions from your system and protect your system against these various threats. The course also includes laboratory demonstrations of fundamental EMI/EMC concepts.
