Radar Cross Section Lab — This course can only be purchased with DEF 2503P: Radar Cross Section Reduction. In this add-on to the Radar Cross Section Reduction (RCSR) course, you’ll gain hands-on experience with tools and techniques for RCSR. In the morning session you’ll use several computational electromagnetics tools for RCSR, learn about materials characterization, and tour a compact range. In the afternoon session, you’ll work in teams to treat a test object, competing to minimize its RCS. In this session, you’ll gain hands-on experience with materials and treatment characterization, and apply materials and treatments to a test object.
