DRFM Technology Basic — This course introduces DRFM technology as it is used for radar jamming and explains why DRFM coherent Electronic Attack is more efficient and flexible than traditional noise jamming. Theory of operations, system architecture trades, range and Doppler electronic attack techniques, and distributed EW concepts are presented. Instructors are true DRFM Technology subject matter experts each with over 25 years of experience working full time supporting DoD Electronic Warfare programs developing, analyzing, and testing DRFM technology. Classroom lectures are augmented with a live hardware demonstration of test equipment and a DRFM device to reinforce the concepts discussed in lectures. Questions and student interaction are encouraged throughout the course and a quiz is utilized to help engage the students with the subject materials as well as assess evidence of learning.
