Intro SDR: Hands-On Approach — This course will cover the basics of developing software defined radio (SDR) communications systems, starting with a basis in theory and moving into applications. The course is structured so that concepts and theory can be instantly translated to practice with hands-on implementations in Python and Jupyter using provided SDR devices. All necessary hardware will be provided. The course will present all the necessary building blocks to become SDR developers, including signal processing and communications theory, as well as basic Python skills needed to implement those techniques. The course culminates in a class-wide radio competition.
