Sys Eng Adaptive Acquisition — The new DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) gives increased flexibility to acquisition efforts; however, this complicates proper tailoring of acquisition activities. This course introduces you to options under the new AAF Pathways and teaches value-added systems engineering that is appropriate for the specific timelines. Specifically, the examples and group exercises will prepare you to perform an analysis of alternatives, requirements analysis, lifecycle cost estimate, and functional decomposition for programs on a non-traditional acquisition timeline.
