Intro-User Experience Design — Design is an essential part of providing a great user experience (UX), offering the user what they need in the most efficient and satisfying manner. This introductory course introduces the novice designer to a systematic and data-driven process cycle of discovery and evaluation, as well as a set of techniques, used to meet a user's needs. You will be introduced to this four-step user interface design cycle and learn how to gather information about what the user needs, how to design and model interfaces based on those needs, and how to evaluate the design to meet the user's end goal. Anyone, regardless of their current training, who is willing to learn these techniques and follow the proposed cycle can be a UX designer!
