Econometrics I, 3 credit hours — This course is a comprehensive introduction to mathematical statistics principles underlying statistical analyses in economics. It covers probability theory, expectation, sampling, asymptotic results, the main families of probability distributions studied in economics, estimation and hypothesis testing.
