Adv Speaking/Listening (38) — This advanced oral skills course consists of academic listening practice, note-taking, and summarizing. Listening practice is provided by recorded lectures and interviews on a variety of current topics, which also provide students with discussion opportunities. New vocabulary and expressions applicable to several situations are part of the listening exercises. Students are expected to give presentations and do speaking-related projects to practice their speaking skills.
