US History Academic (38) — Web~In this course, students will increase their reading and writing skills while learning about US history. Students will read a variety of literary genres to enhance their extensive and intensive reading skills, including history books, personal narratives, and news articles. This course will prepare students for university by developing their writing skills in the form of research papers and expository essays, as well as personal narratives. Students will reflect on their own experiences and develop their own literary voice by writing reflective essays and personal blogs.
