ESL: Pers Ldshp Skills (18) — Web Description~In this class the focus will be on developing participants’ understanding of the many roles and accompanying responsibilities that teachers have as leaders of learner-centered classrooms. Participants will assess their current readiness for leadership in learner-centered classrooms by engaging in self-awareness and reflection exercises. They will improve upon their current level of readiness through hands-on activities designed to develop their abilities in areas like planning, motivation, critical thinking, and adopting a personal leadership perspective. Importantly, this course will focus on developing participants’ perspective of themselves as life-long learners of both language and pedagogy.
