Intro to Linguistics, 3 credit hours — Introductory course that surveys various fields in linguistics, including first/second language acquisition, phonetics/phonology, morphology/syntax, semantics/pragmatics, language variation, computational linguistics/natural language processing, and writing systems. Credit not allowed for both LING 2100 and LING 2001.
