Public Management, 3 credit hours — Using case studies and a field exercise, students will examine how public policies are executed and managed. Underlying the course is the assumption that public management, is the management of political authority and that strategic thinking can make for effective public management. Satisfies policy implementation, management and organization theory requirement.
