Applied Policy Methods, 3 credit hours — Development of the ability to extract meaning from multivariate data sets configured in formats amenable to statistical analysis in social science and policy analysis. This course introduces multivariate data collection, production, description, management and presentation for public policy; multivariate probability distributions; inferential statistics with multivariate data sets; graphical methods for multivariate data analysis; and the use of statistical programming languages.
